Tennis Canada 2014-2016
Tennis Canada is a non-profit, national sport association with a mission to lead the growth of tennis in Canada and a vision to become a world-leading tennis nation. It owns and operates the premier National Bank Open WTA and ATP World Tour events. All surplus is invested back into growing the game through increasing participation, building facilities, and developing world-class champions.

- Worked closely with the Board of Directors, the provincial tennis associations and Tennis Canada management to develop and implement a shared vision and strategic plan that promoted the positive profile and growth of tennis in Canada
- Served as key spokesperson within the domestic and international tennis communities (ATP, WTA, ATP Media, ITF)
- Oversaw the management of the, then, Rogers Cup / Coupe Rogers, as well as the hosting facilities, to ensure that the events (Montreal and Toronto) met Tier-1 international standards, while still meeting financial objectives
- Managed and grew the tennis development system in Canada
- Actively marketed Tennis Canada, attracting the appropriate financial resources to promote the game and fund the development of junior players to ensure that they successfully competed on the global stage
- Helped build equity in the brand of the professional Canadian tennis stars
- Managed the daily operations of the business, including the hiring, training, development and motivation of human capital within Tennis Canada
- Surpassed financial and all key objectives each of the three years; achieved many ‘mosts, bests, and firsts’ in all major metrics
ParticipACTION is the national voice of physical activity and sport participation in Canada. Originally established in 1971, ParticipACTION was relaunched in 2007 to help address the inactivity and obesity crisis that faces Canada. As a national not-for-profit organization solely dedicated to inspiring and supporting active and healthy living for Canadians, it works with its partners to inspire and support Canadians to move more.

- Relaunched the brand and organization, hired all staff, developed systems and processes, implemented governance protocol, established stakeholder relationships, built partnerships across and beyond the sector, and secured numerous private sector sponsorships
- Launched annual national public awareness campaigns, including all forms of media and public relations, resulting in a brand awareness level that was greater than 80% in Canada
- Secured cash sponsorship/donations and in-kind contributions, in addition to the organization’s federal government funding and, in all years, exceeded Contribution Agreement objectives
- Secured multiple national partnerships with various private sector companies, including Coca-Cola Canada, RBC, Sun Life Financial, Johnson & Johnson, Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
- Assembled an extremely functional board of high profile directors

C2 was a publicly traded $100 million, 300-employee, U.S.-based telecommunications service provider with offices in New York, San Diego, Pittsburg and Newark. In September 2005, the service business was sold. The balance of the company was solely focused on licensing its VoIP patents and technology.
