SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY - Hani Bishara, Head of Debt Advisory and Restructuring, Ernst & Young, Middle East

Hani has over 20 years’ experience supporting businesses through change including turnaround management, debt advisory, corporate finance, banking and corporate restructuring. Hani is a Rotman School Alumni, Chartered Accountant with an MBA in Finance (Schulich) as well as a Canadian Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He has led Ernst & Young’s Debt Advisory and Restructuring practice in MENA for the last eight  years and has been involved in numerous transactions across the Region on both company and lender side  covering strategic reviews, business planning including contingency planning, cash flow forecasting and cash management, liquidations, stakeholder management and financial and operational restructuring. Prior to his experience in MENA Hani spent over 12 years in The Canadian market working in both an advisory and banking capacity.
