Financing your GEMBA

The Rotman School strives to recruit the best candidates to its programs. We present a broad range of financial options which may help you finance your education.

Here for you

There are a number of opportunities available to you to help finance your GEMBA. Explore the options below and please do contact us if you have any questions.

Merit-based entrance awards

$300,000 USD in merit-based entrance award funding available.

We assess all of our candidates for exceptional merit above the minimum admission criteria. Some of the things we look for during this assessment are leadership qualities demonstrated through professional and academic experience and the overall strength of each application. Candidates who are selected to receive an entrance award will be notified when they receive an offer of admission. Every application for admission to the program is automatically considered for an entrance award; you don’t need to apply separately. Keep in mind that the earlier you apply to the program, the better your chances of an award.

The Forté Foundation is a consortium of major organizations and top business schools working together to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women.

The Forté Fellows Program was created with the intention of increasing the number of women applying to and enrolling in MBA programs by offering fellowships to women. The Rotman School of Management is a proud partner and sponsor school of the Forté Foundation and a strong supporter of women advancing in leadership. To date, Rotman has given more than $4.7 million to over 170 Forté Fellows and is now expanding its support to Executive MBA programs.

Forté Foundation Fellowship Award: $10,000 USD.  This award is presented to one highly qualified female candidate of the Rotman-SDA Bocconi Global Executive MBA, who demonstrates significant professional and leadership achievements in their field and who is a member of the Forte Foundation.

How to apply: To be considered for a fellowship, members of the Forté Foundation should submit a GEMBA application – no additional application is required.

Deadline for consideration: Applicants must submit an application to the program by June 1st to be considered for this award.
