Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?

I believe that the fusion of Management and Analytics is the future During my internship at a wealth management firm, I witnessed numerous retail investors struggling to grasp market trends and economic policies, leading to significant losses in their investments. It became clear to me that combining my background in mathematics and statistics from my undergraduate studies with a strong business sense is essential. This realization prompted me to pursue further studies in management analytics at Rotman.

What are you looking forward to the most in the program?

I'm most excited about the opportunity to interact with experts from various fields during the program. From August to June, the MMA program offers a series of mini-courses taught by industry experts that expose students to current trends and topics. For instance, this year, we have Dr. Gillian K. Hadfield, a senior policy advisor at OpenAI, teaching us about Responsible AI. The prospect of having in-depth discussions with these industry experts and gaining insights into their business perspectives is what excites me the most.

What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?

After 11 months, I am confident that the analytical skills and strategies I acquire during my time in the MMA program will significantly enhance my business acumen. Moreover, I expect to forge lasting friendships with my fellow students and build a valuable professional network that will continue to guide my personal and career development in the future. With the backing of Rotman's alumni, friends, and faculty members, I have full confidence in my ability to achieve my career aspirations and realize the life I envision.
