Why did you decide to study the Master of Management Analytics program?
Given my background in Computer Science, one of the main reasons why I decided to take up the MMA program was to develop the technical and interpersonal skills required to become a data savvy professional. After having been exposed to the IT industry, I wanted to further enhance my expertise in using technology to crunch data and solve businesses problems.
What are your top reasons for choosing Rotman?
Rotman has an unmatched reputation in Canada.Toronto is a multicultural city with a booming economy. As an international student, this was one of the most important factors that influenced my decision. Considering this is the first year of the MMA program at Rotman, the MMA admissions team was extremely helpful in helping me make my choice. They were super responsive to all (and any!) kind of queries I had.
What are you looking forward to most in the program?
I am really looking forward to working on the practicum project. Having completed two courses in the intro-term, I can hardly wait to get going with data in the real world! I am also looking forward to getting comfortable with networking. With all the workshops and industry events that Rotman organizes, I am sure I will have evolved by the end of this program.
