Redefining the Corporation - Main

.

This website, Redefining the Corporation: An International Colloquy, facilitated a project, "The Corporation and Its Stakeholders", funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation in support of the Foundation's research theme area on the role of the corporation. The overall goal of the Project was "to increase the amount and improve the quality of scholarly and managerial attention devoted to consideration and analysis of the nature, purpose, and governance of corporations, particularly as they involve business activity in an international context". Achieving this goal involved the development of an international research network as well as the activities described in the Project Statement.

The Project explored the impact and implications of the stakeholder model of the corporation, and the concept of stakeholder management.
