International Programs and Services

We're here to help

Rotman boasts one of the most international student bodies of any leading business school. We offer a range of services – from academic orientation to professional development – designed for students from outside Canada.

International Student Orientation

International orientation sessions help students adjust to life in Canada and get acquainted with faculty, staff and fellow students at Rotman. Sessions may include cross-cultural communication, business practices in a Canadian context and academic expectations in a North American environment just to name a few. These sessions are designed to enhance your skills, increase your knowledge and prepare you for an intense program at Rotman while having fun and learning in a safe environment. We are here to help you every step of the way as you embark on this exciting new journey!

Pre-program sessions

All students are invited to attend sessions led by Ms. Terry Compton who will address a variety of topics specifically targeted to international students. Terry will discuss topics such as Effective Emails for the Canadian Workplace, Giving and Receiving Feedback: Canadian Style and Navigating the Canadian Workplace.

"Rotman has grown rapidly in the past decade and made strides in becoming a top global MBA program and it has clear momentum behind it. I am excited to be a part of that."
