One of the Johnston Centre’s key research objectives will be to understand and support good governance for family businesses. Our over-arching goal will be to answer the question “what does good governance look like?” for these organizations, which contribute 67% to Canada’s economy. Our previous work has shown that family businesses outperform and outlast non-controlled companies.
