The Rotman School
Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Canada’s financial, commercial and cultural capital, and consistently ranked one of the best cities in the world in which to live. Toronto is home to the third largest financial, technology, health sciences, and film and television sectors in North America.
Rotman has undergone a dramatic period of growth in recent years, nearly doubling the size and scope of its research and educational activities. To accommodate its expansion, the School has opened a $91.8-million building next to the existing one at 105 St. George.
Designed by globally-renowned architectural firm Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg (KPMB), the building is designed to meet the exacting standards of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Canada Green Building Rating System. Featuring natural materials, green roofs, a multi-storey foyer with a grand central staircase, new classrooms and a 400-seat event facility, the building provides Rotman with a home worthy of its ambitions to become a global leader in innovative business education.
At the Rotman School, we place a premium on original thinking and rigorous scholarship. In the classroom, our top-ranked professors share the knowledge they have gained from years of experience in both business and academia. Outside the classroom, some of the greatest minds in business share their insights at conferences, seminars and speaker series, and in articles for Rotman Management Magazine.
Rotman has strategically invested in hiring faculty members who publish influential research in their fields. Learning from industry-shaping individuals raises the level of classroom debate and makes a significant difference in our classroom experience.
Rotman 3rd place ranking for faculty research by Financial Times puts us in an elite tier of institutions—alongside Harvard, Wharton, Berkeley, Stern, Stanford, Booth and Kellogg—that take the lead in the creation of business knowledge.
Rotman is also home to over ten research centres and education centres that drive innovation through daily advances in research and thought leadership.
Our programs attract a wide range of business leaders both nationally and internationally and are designed to create an intimate classroom experience that encourages networking through group work and experiential learning. This means you’ll have the opportunity to learn, not only from our esteemed faculty, but also from your peers.
