The state-of-the-art BMO Financial Group Finance Research and Trading Lab allows you to hone your skills as a trader. With access to information on the global markets and simulation tools developed by Rotman experts the lab provides an opportunity to practice investment, trading and hedging strategies in a simulated environment.

Admission Criteria

MFin students live and work in the Toronto area, have an undergraduate degree, and relevant work experience in finance or business. They aim to accelerate their careers to become future finance leaders.

Textbooks

Already hold a CFA designation?

Each MFin class is a diverse group of professionals from all areas of finance - risk, portfolio management, corporate finance, equity research, accounting, sales & trading and so on. They are finance professionals in large banks and boutique firms. Students are selected for their motivation (64% of our latest class have passed the CFA I and/or II and/or III exams), professional and personal achievements (average of 5 years work experience) and potential for continuing success.
