Toronto – Since 2005 non-profit organizations and social enterprises who require management consulting services have reached out to a team of four MBA students at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management who help these organizations maximize their social impact.
Rotman NeXus offers affordable, fee-based consulting services, to support a broad range of business needs at all the different stages in the non-profit lifecycle, including planning and start-up to increasing capacity and expansion.
The consultants, who are entering the second year of the Rotman MBA program, each bring a deep understanding of management and business practices, as well as their own experiences in the private and public sectors in Canada, and internationally, to the challenges facing their clients.
“Nexus provides a holistic approach to multi-faceted challenges faced by non-profits. Our team is committed to supporting our clients as they develop more capacity by creating a sustainable strategy and developing frameworks and toolkits for non-profits to achieve their innovative aspirations” says consultant Radhika Saralaya, who is joined this year on the NeXus team by Rebecca Vernik, Kavita Nayar and Tyrenny Anderson.
Connected not only to the Rotman School’s world-renowned faculty, the consultants are also supported by mentors and a board of directors comprised of faculty and industry professionals who provide the best insights from the non-profit, business and academic worlds. Research by Rotman faculty is ranked 9th in the world by the Financial Times.
