Your MBA journey
Designed for busy professionals, the program offers a range of learning opportunities to help you accelerate your career. In the first half of the program, you're participating in an onsite or online class from 7:00 to 9:00 am, twice a week with the Morning MBA - or from 6:30 to 8:30 pm twice a week with the Evening MBA - with weekends free to enjoy with your friends and family. In the second half of the program, choose courses and schedules that fit your career path.
With both programs, you're in class several days a month - which adds up to about 570 hours of in-person, blended and online instruction with some of the world's leading faculty.
During the recent pandemic, we transitioned our classes to online delivery. The Rotman learning experience continued to be of the highest quality, and we’ve taken the learnings from that situation: starting in fall 2021, each semester one of the core MBA courses will be delivered online. This reduces the number of times you need to commute to the building, while still providing you the opportunity to meet everyone in your cohort and build your network.
"The program gives you the opportunity to practice the theory you learn in class, and bring your professional experiences to the classroom."
— Shikha (Bhuchar) Chen, MBA ‘14, Co-Founder, Arrive, RBC Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada
You'll be applying what you learn at work, and bringing your work challenges to the classroom. In addition, after mastering the fundamentals of the core program, you can choose from over 100 electives and 16 specializations to fully customize your MBA experience based on your interests and career goals.
The interplay of work and study, and the potent mix of case studies, simulations and lectures, adds up to a transformational learning experience that is unique to the Rotman School, and unrivaled in the world of business education.
