Rotman MBA Team Wins A.T. Kearney’s Global Prize Competition.

November 25, 2013

Toronto – A team of students from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management’s Full Time MBA program have won A.T. Kearney’s Global Prize 2013, an annual strategic case competition, by defeating a team from London Business School.

The team consisting of Alex Fitzgerald, Michael Fitzgerald, Michael McVety, and Steven Zhao, all students in the first year of the Rotman Full Time MBA program had earlier defeated five teams from North America to advance to the final.

In the Global Prize competition teams tackle a case, based on an actual A.T. Kearney client engagement. Throughout the competition, teams had the opportunity to interact with A.T. Kearney consultants as they act as the client in simulations, provide feedback on the team’s efforts, and share their insights on consulting.

"We are so pleased with the result of the competition and all that we have learned through the process. As we look to what's next, we are excited to take our insights from this experience, paired with all the content we are learning in class and put it to use during our summer internships." say the team members, who won cash prizes at each stage of the competition and the chance to work for A.T. Kearney next summer.
