Rotman Grads are Among Canada’s Most Powerful Women.

Toronto – Four graduates of the Rotman MBA and Rotman Commerce programs were named to the 2013 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 list, which was announced by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) earlier this month. An additional four graduates of the Directors Education Program which was jointly developed by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the Rotman School were also named to the list.

Ann Kaplan, a 2005 graduate of the Rotman Executive MBA program, who is CEO and president, iFinance Canada, was cited in the CIBC Entrepreneur category.

The president of George Brown College in Toronto, Anne Sado, a 1981 graduate of the Rotman MBA program, was named in the Public Sector Leaders category.

Sharon Ludlow, CEO and president, Swiss Re Canada, who is a 1989 graduate of Rotman Commerce, was named in the Scotiabank Corporate Executive Category. 

Joan Sproul, a 1979 graduate of Rotman Commerce , who is  Executive vice-president, corporate and chief financial officer, Mount Sinai Hospital, was also cited in the Public Sector Leaders category.

Four graduates of the Directors Education Program also made the list including;

Debbie Baxter, Chief sustainability officer and vice-president of workplace services, LoyaltyOne; Patricia Callon, Director and vice-chair, Toronto Hydro Corp.; Betty DeVita, President, MasterCard Canada; and, Michele McKenzie, CEO and president, Canadian Tourism Commission.
