The Rotman School community is profoundly saddened by the passing of our cherished benefactor, Joseph L. Rotman, this morning in Toronto.
Joe was a true visionary and leader in diverse fields spanning the arts, medical sciences, global health, business and its impact on society, and of course, education. More than 20 years ago Joe had a transformative and courageous vision to build a truly great management school at one of Canada’s great universities.
Thanks to the support of Joe and his wife Sandy, the Rotman School has been able to grow and develop into one of the most innovative and relevant management schools globally.
Joe will be greatly missed by everyone in the Rotman community and our thoughts and prayers are with Sandy and the Rotman family.
