Toronto – Six new principals have been appointed to the Impact Consulting Group at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Established in 1972, the student-run consultancy provides high value consulting work to its clients as well as valuable work experience for students in the Rotman MBA program.

Each year, a new team of MBA students is selected to lead the organization. The new principals for this year include Austen Crean, Abhishek Derek Ellie, Rohan Thomas, Usama Tanzeem, Aseem Kumar and Chandan Sejekan from the Rotman Full Time MBA Class of 2023. Collectively, the team has over 25 years of industry experience in energy, sustainable infrastructure, retail, engineering and construction, renewable energy, and aerospace. The team leverages their professional experience and MBA knowledge to help clients engage in corporate planning and development, performance improvement, marketing strategy, digital transformation, and ESG strategy.

“Having built two businesses and led the turnaround of a public company, I've been remarkably impressed by the Impact team's innovative thinking to solve client problems in a pragmatic and cost effective fashion" said Dan Richards, a member of the Advisory Board of Impact Consulting Group and an instructor in the Rotman MBA program.
