Two Rotman Graduates Named as “MBAs to Watch” by Poets&Quants

August 23, 2023

Toronto – Two graduates of the Full-Time MBA program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management were named to the Poets&Quants list of “MBAs to Watch” of highly successful MBA graduates from the Class of 2023, which was published on Monday.

Dotun Ogunlela, MBA ’23, and Katherine Reilly, MBA ’23, were named to the list, which was derived from nominations from business schools around the world for Poets&Quants annual “Best and Brightest MBAs” feature.  A third Rotman graduate, Andrew Noskiewicz, MBA ’23, was among the “Best & Brightest,” which was published earlier in the year.

Ogunlela, who received both a Forte Fellowship and a Institute of Gender and the Economy (GATE) Fellowship, served as a mentor to many first-year students helping them with the career recruitment process as well as providing guidance for students interesting in pursuing careers in consulting.

Dotun cares deeply about people and giving back to her community. In addition to the important research on the challenges faced by working mothers in Nigeria she is doing as a Fellow with the Institute for Gender and the Economy, Dotun exudes Rotman’s ‘Pay it forward’ culture through advising students on recruitment and helping them prepare for consulting interviews. She willingly takes on this extra workload while also being one of the few mothers in the program,” said Robyn Behlke, Career Coach, Full Time & Morning & Evening MBA Programs.

Reilly served as Vice President, Academic of the Graduate Business Council at the Rotman School where she worked on initiatives with the program administration to improve the student experience based on feedback from students in both the Full-Time MBA and Morning & Evening MBA programs.

Katherine has never been afraid of having her voice heard, but what makes her different is that she works hard to ensure that the voices of others are also represented. This drive for inclusion is what motivated Katherine to ensure that Rotman is a better school when she leaves than when she first arrived,” said Cindy Chong, Career Coach, Full Time & Morning & Evening MBA Programs.

Profiles of Ogunlela and Reilly are online as well as the main story for MBAs to Watch.”
