  • Our admissions staff will be on hand for informal chats or application assistance: they look forward to meeting you and answering your questions.

You're welcome to attend one event, or several, or many.

For each session you'd like to attend, you'll need to pre-register individually online. (It's all free!) Registration is available for each event through the schedule below. 

Drop-in participants are welcome if space permits, but since seating is limited we recommend pre-registering to secure your place.

Workshops and webinars

Workshops and webinars will showcase some of what makes Rotman unique, including our award winning Creative Destruction Lab, where ideas and projects are transformed into high-growth companies, and our amazing Career Services. Career Services staff will also answer your questions about future career options, alumni experiences, and the resources they offer to MBA students.

Sample Class: The Psychology of Persuasion & Influence for Change

Brian Golden is the Vice-Dean of MBA Programs at Rotman, as well as the Academic Co-Director of the School's Global Executive MBA for Healthcare and the Life Sciences program and a Professor of Strategic Management.

He conducts research and teaches in the areas of strategic change and implementation, health system integration and funding, governance, organizational strategy and leadership.

A smiling woman (Angele Beausoleil)Rotman's assistant professor of Business Design and Innovation, Angèle Beausoleil teaches design methodologies for business innovation and leads field research inside organizations on innovation process design, navigation and management. She applies her 25 years of business experience to crafting high-impact teaching and student-centred learning experiences.

Dr. Beausoleil is Canada's first PhD to focus on innovation literacy using design thinking processes and methods.

Leadership Journeys of Rotman MBAs | 6:00 PM

Rotman alumni will share their thoughts on leadership in a dynamic panel discussion. They'll share some of the knowledge they gained through Rotman's leadership training, which has a well-deserved reputation.  

This Is Day One: A Practical Guide to Leadership That Matters | 7:00 PM

Our keynote remarks will be given by leadership author and speaker Drew Dudley. Drew was formerly the director of one of Canada’s largest leadership development programs, at the University of Toronto. He is now the CEO of Day One Leadership, helping some of the world’s largest organizations discover, define, and deliver on their core leadership values. He has just written a book, This Is Day One, which he will be signing after his remarks.

Drew has been featured on The Huffington Post,, and, where his talk “Leading with Lollipops” was voted “one of the 15 most inspirational TED talks of all time”.

His action-oriented talk will show you that leadership isn’t only for those in charge. You’ll be inspired to create a “culture of everyday leadership”, and to embrace your own ability to lead.
