Donald Raymond
Bio
Don is currently Chief Investment Strategist of QIA, the sovereign wealth fund of the State of Qatar. He is also a member of the Investments and Risk Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Previously, he served on the founding senior management team of Canada Pension Plan Investments, as its first head of Public Market Investments and subsequently as its first Chief Investment Strategist. Prior to joining CPP Investments, Don worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and Schlumberger in China. He has also served as Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Investment Committee of Queen's University and on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Investment Committee of Great-West LifeCo. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen's University, specializing in nonlinear systems.
