Emotionally Intelligent Leadership
This session introduces Emotional Intelligence as an essential skill for effective performance and career success. It explores what Emotional Intelligence is, provides evidence for how it is helping individuals, teams and organizations excel and presents a model for learning and development of the essential emotional intelligence competencies. A personal assessment will provide insight on personal competencies and areas for growth that will support the participants in achieving their career goals.
A follow-up one-on-one coaching session will allow you to go deeper on your personal EQ profile and allow you to develop a personal strategy for growth.
This session looks at the work leaders do with a new lens. While leadership is in part about bringing groups and individuals together to achieve more, the more complex task leaders face is in helping navigate stakeholders through times of change and uncertainty. This session introduces you to leadership as a thoughtful process. You will come away with a new way to think about your leadership style, and what you can do to become a more effective leader.
Personal Branding and Presence
Successful brands such as Starbucks, Apple and Nike all have something in common: they have a clear, well defined message. They are exclusive to their target market and are not for everyone.
In today's fast paced wireless environment you are bombarded with thousands of messages a day, in both your 'real' and 'virtual' world. The messages you deliver about yourself is in that mix of thousands. How do you stand out and capture the attention of your target market?
In this session you will learn the fundamental elements in building an authentic brand that speaks to who you are, represents your value and positions you as an expert.
Managing your Career
This session introduce the value of professional networking in your career. We will discuss examples of career choices successful women have made in their careers and allow you to draw parallels to your own. A panel discussion with successful women from various backgrounds and industries, and with individual ambitions, will provide further insight.

You should attend the Athena Program if you have 3 to 8+ years of work experience, or have recently made a career change. We look for applicants who aspire to career growth and positions of greater influence in their organizations.
$3,100 + HST

Each application is reviewed by Rotman’s admissions committee to ensure participants have the appropriate academic and work experience.
Participant Notification Process
Admission decisions will be made on a rolling basis. Once you submit your complete application, you can expect an admissions decision within 10 business.
The program fee is due 30 days after receipt of invoice or 30 days before the start of the program, whichever is first. Payments can be made online. Applicants will be redirected to a secure online payment website after completion of the application form.
Rotman Initiative for Women in Business graduates or Rotman MBA / EMBA alumni are eligible for a discount equivalent to 10% of the Program tuition. In addition, partner discounts are also offered for some programs. Where program applicants are eligible for more than one fee reduction, only the greater discount will be applied towards the tuition fee. Discounts are not redeemable for cash.
