New Business Design Initiative Debuts with a Conference for Global Business Leaders

Toronto – The newest education centre at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, the Business Design Initiative, is debuting its new vision and strategy with a virtual half day conference geared towards global business leaders.

This new conference, Business Design Xchange (BDX), features an all-star line up of business and design leaders who will examine how successful companies use design as a catalyst for corporate innovation. The theme of the inaugural Rotman BDX is Decoding Design for Innovation, and will offer interactive online conversations with industry leaders in the midst of organizational transformation.

Taking place online on Friday, November 20, attendees will hear from leaders including Scott D. Anthony, Senior Partner, Innosight; Pamela Hilborn, Senior Vice President Global Head of Design Scotiabank; Hyo Yeon, Partner, McKinsey Design; and Bruce Mau, Co-Founder and CEO, Massive Change Network and Chief Design Officer, Freeman. Registration includes access to the half-day conference and an one-year digital subscription to Rotman Management, the award winning magazine of the Rotman School.
