About Me: Nabaa, MEMBA Class of 2023

Quick Info

  • Name: Nabaa
  • Graduate Year: 2023
  • Morning or Evening MBA: Evening MBA

Why did you decide to join Rotman?

Rotman's Morning/Evening MBA Program allowed me the opportunity to continue to gain valuable work experience, while still connecting me to like-minded individuals who have an insatiable urge to learn, drive innovation and improve the world.

What is your career aspiration?

My goal is to one day help develop innovative solutions and leverage technology to help change the world.

What are you enjoying about the program?

Even during COVID-19, Rotman has done an extraordinary job to connect us both to internal and external resources that will help us along in our MBA journey and has facilitated multiple virtual platforms that has connected us to many disruptive ideas and leaders across the globe.

What is the experience in the cohort?

The cohort has been extremely friendly, supportive, and helpful. People are willing to go above-and-beyond to help each other when it comes to Academics, Networking Opportunities, or even general advice on where to eat/visit within Toronto.

Have you been able to take advantage of extracurricular activities at Rotman - CDL, clubs, case competitions?

Some of the clubs I joined are: Evening MBA Career Representative; Management Consulting Association Club (MCA); Business Technology Association (BTA); Business Design Club (BDC); Rotman Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Association (REVCA); BTA and REVCA Mentorship Programs

Share a networking experience you have had at the Rotman School, what benefits did you derive?

I was fortunate enough to be chosen for the Rotman LEADS Program and to be mentored by Wayne Purboo. He has shared a wealth of knowledge and experience with me on how to succeed not only in business and entrepreneurship, but in life.
