BEAR is always engaging with students in the Rotman MBA and Commerce programs to work on exciting projects in collaboration with partnering organizations. Student research activities include reviewing literature, conducting field research, leading workshops with experts and practitioners, writing white papers and reports, and designing interventions.
Financial Literacy in a Box (FLIB)
Recognizing the gap between the goals of a financial education program (i.e., knowledge) and effective financial decision-making, students at Rotman worked on developing a set of tools for BEAR's initiative on Financial Literacy in a Box (FLIB).
After initial conversations with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), students at Rotman conducted research, identified gaps, and developed recommendations to improve concussion management in Canadian youth.
