On November 2nd, 2022, at 5 PM EDT, we hosted a panel discussion on AI adoption in healthcare, focused on why the sector has been so slow to act.  Professor Avi Goldfarb will present key ideas from his forthcoming book, Power and Prediction to shed some light on this issue, and discuss ways to overcome the challenges with three experts from different vantage points – Helen Angus, former Deputy Minister of Health and CEO of AMS Healthcare, Dr. Chris O’Connor, internist and physician entrepreneur, and Dr. Amol Verma, internist and clinician-scientist at Unity Health Toronto.
