Rotman Risk Management

Protect your future.

Risk is a universal constant.

Whether you prepare or not, your organization faces risk every day. Unanticipated shocks like the global pandemic of 2020 can threaten earnings, damage your reputation, and throw operations into a tailspin.

Rotman's Risk Management program will equip you to strengthen your approach to internal and external risk. Your organization will benefit from your newfound ability to anticipate and respond to risk. Sessions include discussions of COVID-19 and pandemic preparedness. Managing all risk is impossible, so what do you focus on? And, what do you do when risk management and crisis management must be incorporated into strategy?

  • Crisis management

Meet the Faculty and Instructors teaching in the Risk Management Program

You will also gain non-technical exposure to state-of-the-art tools such as data analytics and machine learning and how they can be applied to risk management. After the program you will benefit from one hour of one-on-one consulting about how you are applying the tools you learned in class within your organization.

Working with a group of similarly experienced professionals, this immersive experience helps public, private, and nonprofit organizations to drive and preserve enterprise value. Prepare to face different types of risk with hands-on exercises both by yourself and in focused teams. You will learn how and why to frame risk as a key strategic imperative, allowing you to turn short-range risks into long-term opportunities, and making your organization safer, stronger, and more resilient.
