Financial Assistance

Explore government-funded options for financial support for micro-credentials

The Canada Job Grant

The Canada Job Grant provides opportunities for employers, individually or in groups, to invest in their workforce, with help from the government, offsetting up to 2/3 of the cost. Rotman Executive Programs is a recognized training provider for our open enrolment and custom programs.

OSAP

The Ontario Student Assistance Program has recently began to offer support for micro-credentials, including a limited number of Rotman Executive Programs. This new resource is part of Ontario’s micro-credentials strategy, helping learners access more opportunities to train or upskill for in-demand jobs. This micro-credential benefit refers specifically to short, professional development programs like Rotman Executive Programs, not to undergraduate or masters degrees.

Receiving Funds

For questions regarding the OSAP micro-credential funding, eligibility or application process, please contact UofT's Enrolment Services directly at http://uoft.me/enrolment-services or by phone at 416-978-2190 for assistance or more information about the process.

Students can expect processing times of 4-6 weeks. Funding is only issued at the start of the micro-credential course and once all documentation is provided, so students must prepay to register and expect the OSAP funds to act as reimbursement. All OSAP funding is being sent directly to the student’s bank account by OSAP once Enrolment Services confirms registration. The OSAP office will contact offering departments to confirm program information and registration.
